The players perform amorous 'challenges' when their pieces fall on a square (representing a body part) that belongs to their partners. The tasks, which can be of a romantic, sensual or erotic nature, are to be performed during the course of the game and within a time limit set by an hourglass included with the game.

The player who collects all of the body parts wins the game and an erotic 'stake' hidden in an envelope at the beginning of the game. This erotic stake earns the winner a final cajolerie and typically involves some play acting likely to bring lovers together.
